A proper vehicle plays a vital role in the safe transportation of the Christmas tree so make sure you have a vehicle capable for purpose. Most of people prefer placing the Christmas tree on the roof of their car, in that case ensure that the trunk of the tree is facing the front as this will reduce any damage to the tree due to the winds. Never opt for the roof for placing the tree if you don’t have a roof rack. Before tying the tree on the roof put a blanket or sheet in between to protect it from the scratching and rubbing the roof of the car.

People preferring to place the Christmas tree on the back of their car or the cargo area must first lower the rear car seats and also remove the hood. Before putting the tree in the van or the back of the car, ensure that you cover the seats properly to prevent any unwanted scraping and chafe due to the needles. In case of a pickup truck, put a blanket or thick sheets under the tree to avoid damage due to the hot spots in bed.
